It means making sure poor and working-class communities are not left behind. It includes creating new jobs, reducing energy costs, protecting the environment, and giving people a say in how energy is made and used.
Energy democracy means that communities, not just big companies or governments, get a say in how energy is produced and shared. It ensures that everyone in a city, including marginalised communities, can benefit from clean and affordable energy. Our project provides tools like workshops, training and networking to help communities take part.

We work together with communities and local governments to reduce energy costs and improve access. This includes supporting solar energy, promoting efficient use of power, exploring smart energy technology, and pushing for policies that help low-income households. We also run workshops, work with community groups, and campaign to raise awareness.
We offer training courses (with videos and quizzes), workshops, easy-to-use guides, research, support for setting up community energy groups, and digital tools. You can also join our events and use learning materials in different languages.
